Recently picked up the whole set of Japanese collector editions of Cave shmups for the 360 (except those that don't have one) but am waiting to grab one of those new matte 250 GB 360 slims before registering any DLC codes.
Just looked at the back of the Full Voice DLC card for the Japanese DeathSmiles release and noticed it had a little 'expires April 1, 2010' notice on it.
So... has anyone activated one of these cards since that date? I want to find out if these expiry dates are being honoured. Thanks for the info.

Re: Xbox 360 DLC Card Question
I don't know if expiry dates actually matter, but why are you waiting to register the DLC? When you switch consoles, you can either do a license transfer for all your DLC, or just keep using the DLC after recovering your gamertag on the new console, so there isn't a reason to wait really since you can either use it on two consoles at once, or transfer it away from the first one permanently.
Re: Xbox 360 DLC Card Question
I activated the full voice card earlier this year, so yeah it's fine.

Re: Xbox 360 DLC Card Question
yea, I've activated the DLC since too. ...though I've yet to actually use it :/
Re: Xbox 360 DLC Card Question
Thanks for the confirmation, those comments are reassuring. I hope that's the same for the Otomedius G card I'm trying to track down (has an expiry date of March 31, 2011 on the back). Not that anyone gives that game the time of day.
Waiting due to a lack of any Japanese/Asian 360 in my possession at the moment, that wasn't explicit from my original post. Planning to keep my North American DLC tied to my North American console too, so I'd rather avoid transferring those licenses away permanently since some of them aren't playable in the NTSC-J region. Which is a shame, because the number of NTSC-U/C-only games I have that have a DLC component is so small (e.g: Nier, Rock Band) and the amount of DLC I own for those games is so small that it seems a bit wasteful.

The Otomedius G card is only Anoa in the School Girl uniform, which is available on the marketplace for some MS Points.Niraflen wrote:Thanks for the confirmation, those comments are reassuring. Other than a completely unnoticeable graphical change, it does nothing for the game. You're best off getting Esmeralda and Poini Coon who both break the game horribly and the Moai head stage, rather than getting the costume changes.

I have Otomedius G and it's such a rip off that we have to pay to download a stage. At this rate, konami can go f*** themselves for pulling that kind of crap.dieKatze88 wrote:The Otomedius G card is only Anoa in the School Girl uniform, which is available on the marketplace for some MS Points.Niraflen wrote:Thanks for the confirmation, those comments are reassuring.
