Are there any Raiden-likes with shields?

A friend and I were discussing shmups recently, and while pointing out some for him to try, he noted that Raiden looked like another vertically scrolling shmup he had played in a skating rink a long time ago. It may or may not have a charge shot. This is about all I can get from him, so fire away any shielded games you can think of.

Hotdog storm has a proper shield.
