Maybe someone will know it,my memory is confused and might be 2 movies mixed in one(well might as well be a dream).
what I remember:

people on rocks like colorado style in the desert,girls and boys having sex on rocks,everywhere(like hippies,and very fellini feeling even tho its probably a z movie).
super psychedelique musique and scene.

people borrowed in the sand,only head out of ground.(I feel they are hiding).
there might be a convertible in that movie.

got post apocalyptical feeling,maybe nuke involved.(but maybe not)

yes this is very vague,these are weird memories,maybe 2 differents movies or I just dreamt of it.

Here's what I recall from about 20/25 years back...
someone die in race a la james dean and comeback on earth in another man (and its not the one with warren betty) and somehow helps a guy or someone and probably repeating story of the race.
Think the hero has a black leather jacket and cars are pretty 50's but action is probably in the 80's.
It might well be for kids but I have seen evil dead when i was 6 so idk.

Yeah, The Wraith was cool when it debuted on the big screen back in 1987.

That movie is dire.

It's got the best opening 10 minutes of just about any cool 80's flick and then it's fast downhill thereafter.

It depends what you were expecting. It's not some existential yarn a la Two-Lane Blacktop. I watched The Wraith expecting Z-grade Psychotronic 80s Pop Drive-In Schlock... and warn't disappointed

Alright, my turn. This isnt a movie though, I'm trying to find a music video I remember from when I was a kid.

80's, female artist - possibly Tina Turner or someone similar. I dont think the artist is seen in the video. The video is about a couple on their wedding day. They are outside by a swimming pool, still in their tux and wedding gown. As the video goes on they fight and start throwing each others wedding gifts into the pool, including a silver dining set. Eventually they both end up in the pool somehow - and later they are both sat on deck chairs freezing to death. The video ends with two skeletons sat in the deck chairs, still in their wedding clothes.
