Milestone - RADILGY Video!

Post by gingerj »

I dunno if many of you have seen this, but after watching it this title has now definatly gone up in my expectations. It looks very well done and actually now finally seems to have really good bullet patterns and sprite design.

Mile Stone could be onto a winner with this one and hopefully we'll see a DC port of it.

I have been interested in the shmup for quite some time now. It has a very stylish and distinctive look to it.

Wierd. It's like Alien Hominid in terms of graphical presentation. Definately unique.

Milestone, they're the company that made Chaos Field right?

I remember Radilgy has been talked about here a while back.

Personally I like the graphics. It's unique at least. The cel-shading is very well utilized here. With the resolution of that video we can't say much about how good it would look for real though.

the music's really good though.

And yes, they are the Chaos Field people.

Again, old news. Some days ago, anyone made another post to give this same video available here since March.

OK so now that we've had 3 seperate threads about the same video that's been available for 4 months, is there anything regarding a release date for this game? The loke tests were like 6 months ago!

They seem to have had another test this past weekend (the sixth test? Seventh?), and might actually have the game mostly completed... but, I think that they're adjusting the system so that everybody's happy and perhaps so that further tweaks/additions down the line will be mostly unnecessary (due to already being tweaked to optimal and including everything that most could think of).

I'd like to add that it grates my back also that I'm fooled into thinking that there's somehow a new movie that I didn't know about, only to check and see that it's the same four month-old movie. :)

(I swear that it's the same people over and over, too. "Hey, did you see this movie?" "Oh, that game looks interesting to me.")

My guess is that the game flow is fairly different by now, and that the 050308 video is somewhat nonrepresentative of the current polished product. Of course, can't wait until it hits the arcades.

Looks as unique as always. Jet Grind Radio style visuals meets shooter. I am there. 8) It looks plenty hectic too.

There actually are new movies up for download, now... I'm guessing that I missed a mention of them elsewhere on the forum, but I thought that I'd post a mention here, just in case.
