Best ship in multiple ships shmups

Especially those extra selectable ships that are better than the main ship.

To start things off:

Judge Spear in Raiden Fighters, much better than the Raiden Mk1 which was supposed to be the main ship. It's much faster and has the strongest concentrated fire power.

In your first post, you said including "extra ships". Then you say no cheat ships. What exactly is an extra ship then?

Well... the Ixion is really good in Raiden Fighters Jet. Same with the Hell diver. And this is on top of the rest already mentioned.

Flying Pancake in Strikers 1945+

And that's all I can think of.

well, this thread is obviously inspired by the "worst ship" thread. I just think it's fun to know others opinions.

So of course overpowered ships unlockable by some secret code ruins the balance.
