I just want URL's for now where applicable. If you feel obliged to give phone/fax numbers that would be great too. :D

The one most nearby to me is Zippy's in Turlock.

Great place. That's where I got my first copy of Pokemon Gold.
Don't know the URL, sorry.
The radio said, "No, John. You are the demons."
And then, John was a zombie.

There's on inside northstar mall in san antonio. It's run by a fat guy with a bad attitude.

He once sold me a bad ascii six button controller and refused to give me my money back. He wanted to give me store credit and charge me a "fee for restocking of inventory." This is after I got a receipt stating that he would honor my return and give me money back if the controller did not work. After I proceeded to yell at him and called him every demeaning term for a fat guy imaginable and he was well and scared, he told me he was calling security. I left the store but it was quite the scene. Needless to say I stuck to gamestop where this crap hasn't happened to me yet.

Judging from what you and hikarutilmitt have reported, I would assume this is the San Antonio "Gamefellas" I've heard so much about. I've only been there once and the only thing of note inside was an overpriced copy of TF Gold Pack 1.

This is a sad thing because the Gamefellas at Northcross mall in Austin occasionally has some really decent finds. The other day I snagged a modded GC in good shape (just for Mr. Driller Drill Land, Chaos Field Expanded, and to not have to screw around with that damn freeloader anymore), for $70, which I didn't feel was too terribly bad. I did also find RSG in perfect condition there for $90 once, as well as several other good hauls. Some of their stuff is veeerrry overpriced, however. $60 for Rockman 2 (PSX)?!

They're also really good about letting you return defective merchandise. I'm pretty sure the different locations are owned by different people.

Mad you would be correct. It's too bad the place has such bad customer service since they occasionally have some good finds. The owner of that store though....man when he rolled his eyes at me(a thing I've only experienced with spoiled teenage girls and never with a full grown "man") I came so close to going over that counter..he took a step back.

It's a crying shame that the sacred occupation of independent game seller is represented in san antonio by that dimwit.

For a little taste of local flavor, you can download the theme song from the TV ads. Enjoyable stuff.

The place is seriously the size of a shack, my living room is probably bigger (and I live in a college apartment). He had some cool stuff last time I was there, but anything he had in stock could be found cheaper online (even with shipping), so I haven't been back there since.

He was running a contest when I went there. There's a Neo Geo cab inside, and if you beat his Blazing Star high score, you won a free game of your choice (he had the limited edition Border Down at the time, too).

the only indies near me are Vidiots and some store i can't recall the name of. Vidiots is really decent for genesis and snes games and the prices are lower than hell, but finding the rarities is quite hard (as with anywhere come to think of it).

the "other place" was great they had a Neo 4-slot installed. its also where i bought my turbo grafx and MUSHA (for $9, no less).
I have no sig whatsoever.
