MAJOR OFF-TOPIC (sorry about that but I just want to help)
@ CMoon and Dylan1CC:
I'm playing SNES and Gensis for months now on my gamecube.
it's pretty easy to set up:
You will need an "Action Replay"(any version is fine) and a
SD-card adapter.
or simply a
"Max Drive Pro"
but I recommend the combination between a normal "action Replay" and the SD-card adapter cause you can use any size of SD-cards(I have 2 1gb cards;each full with SNES and genesis roms).
After you got your hardware you will need some software and some patience(you have to feed your Action Replay with 29 codes....don't worry!Only once then it is saved):
-
HERE you will get the programm which "updates" your SD-card (comes with a really good and understandable "READ ME" file which also includes the 29 action replay codes).
- Then you will need the
SNES - and
Genesis emus.
Note: Both emus come with a "read me" file which explain how to use them.
It's really not hard to get it working.
_______
Some facts about the emus:
The SNES emu is just a beta right now but it already supports:
Sound,60 Hz and DSP-chip(Mario Kart) emulation.
Things that don't work yet:
2 player mode and FX-chip games.
The genesis emu is almost perfect as it supports everything:
2 player mode, Sound, 60Hz, almost all games, gamegenie codes and and and...!
The only "problem" I encountered is that there's a little screen tearing in fast scrolling games.
___________
After that you not only will be able to play all the emus for gamecube(Snes,Genesis, etc) but also all the awesome homebrews(1:1 port of
DOOM? Hell yeah!).
