After enjoying the Special edition and the Flash version I took myself to the Llamasoft shop to purchase the full version of Gridrunner++ . The demo was still downloadable but the shop link didn't work so I emailed them.
The guy there explained that the person who'd been running the shop had done a bunk and taken with him all the knowledge of how to provide Gridrunner++, Deflex and Hover Bovver 2 full version DRM downloads, meaning that these games were now unavailable for purchase and might very well stay that way.
I've sailed the seven seas of the interweb since then (and bugged a lot of people with PMs) but Gridrunner++ PC Full Version does seem to be really and truly lost.
