Hi everyone, I was the artist on this indie shmup: http://www.kongregate.com/games/Jonosaurus/m-mode
It is a bi-directional horizontal scroller with randomly spawning enemies. As the players score increases so do the amount of enemies on screen. Our aim was to create a casual game that could be played for just a few minutes but still offer a challenge to hardcore shmup fans.
I hope you enjoy it, and let me know what you think.

That game did not have a single redeeming factor.
My 1CCs so I can find the list easier myself

Why does nearly every shmup on Kongregate suck?

I thought the horse was cute. Charlie the unicornish.

I love the music and the solar England-in-the-Summer-time vibe. In fact I've just left the music playing in another tab cos it's so pleasing. Reminds me a bit of Everyday Shooter which was just so great.
If you could incorporate those sounds and graphics into an arena shooter with a bit of depth to the scoring system and joypad support I'd really be sold.
And of course Henry the horse dances a waltz

I love this game. Shoot me.
Seriously though, I love it. It's got a very surreal vibe to it and the gameplay's pretty good for a flash shmup, although it can be a bit brutal in difficulty at times. It's almost what you'd expect from Cactus Soft.

".... that would be rubbish."
