X360 - Razer Onza any good for SHMUPS?

X360 - Razer Onza any good for SHMUPS?
I saw the tournament edition Razer Onza controller for the 350 last night and it looked like the D-pad might be a good one for SHMUPS. I just hate to drop $50 without hearing some opinions first. Anybody used it yet?
