i almost bought R-Type III Gba yesterday...

Post by JBC »

I was in this Gamestop and saw it in the pre-owned stuff. I didn't buy it because it didn't have the box or instructions and i remember reading some people here talking about how it was a sucky port. It was only 9 dollars, though.

Hmm... 9 bucks to have The Third Lightning on the go...

I loved the snes version.

Think i should get it?

I thought it completely sucked, and so I sold it. But I don't know the SNES version at all; maybe I just don't like the game.

You might want to check the following review out. The guy completely hates it:

My new copy cost me around $35 CAD. Not worth it, yet strangely I can't bring myself to let it go.

The worse part is that I bought it AFTER hearing all the slagging on it.

Here's a better solution for Third Lightning on the move:
Get a PSP. R-Type III is running pretty well on the SNES emu, and things are only looking better for the future!

Hmm... good thing I have an SNES copy, even though it was pulled out from a rental store (and in surprisingly good condition).

The game is horrible on GBA, I'm glad I was able to resell it to salvage some of the money I spent on it.

Hmmm... ok. I'll just pretend it doesn't exist. :(

Exactly what would i have to do to my PSP to get it to emulate snes and such?

No modifications are necessary for your PSP. All you need is a memory stick, and you're good to go for running emulators.
