Sad times - RIP

Favourite line :

Gunderson: Who are you and how did you get in here?
Drebin: I'm a locksmith. And, I'm a locksmith.
"I've asked 2 experts on taking RGB screenshots...."

No... My sister and I were big fans of that wacky humor when we were younger.

It's like saying goodbye to our past selves. RIP Mr. Nielsen.

Nielsen: "We've got to get these people to a hospital as soon as possible"
Flight Attendant: "A hospital? What is it?"
Nielsen: "It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now,"

I'm sure he's Loving It! So, don't be sad, just remember the good fun and watch a movie in his memory. 8)

Favorite movie is Night Train to Paris. Mystery set on a train that was made in the early 60's. Sooooo good! I will miss him dearly.

He was in town for some reason once upon a time, and the local strippers said he was a "big spender".

But on a serious note..R.I.P..

Just watched Airplane two days ago. Oh man, such a great comedian.

I don't think I have ever watched any of his more 'serious' films.

Damn, really good actor as well. :(

I actually really liked him in Creepshow "You've gotta hold your breath there, Harry. You've gotta hold your breath! ..."

I think by far I'll remember him most for his brilliant role on Due South. One of the best moments of his career.

I'll remember him as the intrepid captain facing the unknown in Forbidden Planet. That film is on Blu-ray now, and I urge you all to buy it.

He shall be missed: he was truly an invaluable part of baseball history.

Rest in peace, Mr. Pallazzo.

I've never seen more hat tips to any other actor who's passed away. Remarkable.

Truth be told Leslie Nielsen is one of those few "beloved actors" that actually was beloved. The guy never really did anything to piss anyone off, but did so much to make everyone laugh. Kind of heartwarming to see the support.

Yep, it's a shame. You kind of get the feeling he wasn't a douche. There's a great episode of Columbo with him and Patrick McGoohan called Identity Crisis.

Well, he was apparently divorced three times (how much of it was "his fault" we'll never know, of course), but either way I still like watching him.

I'll miss him. I loved him in the Naked Gun movies, Airplane, and Police Squad. He also made that "4D" movie at Busch Gardens better than I expected.
