About Vanquish's score...

I wanted to ask this question to this community specifically because I wanted to know if anyone who plays shmups for score saw anything worthy in playing Vanquish for score - for self challenge, let's say. I haven't bought it yet, and my decision won't likely affect my decision in anyway, but I'm curious, for future reference.
