Go For The Gold! (Sketchbook Collection)

Post by cigsthecat »

Chris McD and Meathaus have put together this cool little book in time for Mocca and the Comic Con this year.

It has a bunch of great drawings by the likes of Katie Rice, Chris McD, Robert Cory, John K., Ralph Bakshi, James Jean etc etc.....and me.

The John K. Ren and Stimpy layouts are AMAZING and make the purchase worthy all on their own. It's cheap and packed with cool stuff, so you should probably get one if you like good cartooning.

NICE!!! Fantastic artwork (not that I can figure out who you are, but it was all great anyway). Just had a friend come back from Mocca and she was pretty excited about it.

(I'm Chad Coyle) None of the sample pages are mine though.

captain..it's "print on demand," there should be no selling out. I just looked and it seems to work fine for me.

Cigs, is there any page you can go to to just see your artwork?

Not for the pages in this book, I'm going to keep it off the internet for now.

If you haven't seen my website you can check it out via the www link on my post, although it hasn't been updated in a while. I'll try to remedy that soon.

Nice!

Yeah, I'm down here in this whole Providence scene (you know, RISD, paper rodeo, everyone silk screening and DIY up the ying yang). Not that I do art, but running a music label I'm in the middle of a sea of creativity. It is great to see so many talented people DOING things.
