Shmupping on Android phones?

Anyone know if there are any decent shmups on the Android? I got myself a Motorola DROID here a few weeks ago and am loving it, but other than a conversion of Sky Force, has anyone else tried others? Does anyone know if there are any good homebrew shmups in dev for the Android platform? I'd really like to see a conversion of ClayGun for Android

SkyForce Reloaded runs like shit on my Cliq, so I tend to not even bother with it. Radiant is pretty fun; there's a Lite version on the market so you can give it a try.

XGalaxy 2 is alright.

Get a Game Gripper, NESoid, Gensoid, SNESoid, and all the STG Roms with that. You're pretty much set for good on the gaming.

Does NESoid actually work well? I've been curious, thought about maybe doing that & getting a handful of the roms for games I own to throw on there (1943, Burai Fighter, etc) to try it out, but just haven't taken the time yet.

Bought a Droid recently. Mostly been using it to play emulated turn-based strategy games or RPGs so far. As far as shmups go, this looks promising though;

I was able to use a snes droid emulator to play super aleste (Space Megaforce) but, there isn't a good control scheme on the droid so a game that doesn't use the touch screen is very hard to play.

I trained myself to play with a flipped screen so d-pad is at least on the correct side for Moto Droid. I got ok at this. Enough for small time thrills at least. With Game Gripper on Space Megaforce, I can almost pull off a 1CC.

If you don't have a slideout hard keyboard, there's not a lot you can do for precision control. I dunno if Droid 2 keyboard is gonna make things worse since they axed the d-pad

This is what I do. The Game Gripper is really great. The guy who made the oid emulators is working on a PS1 emulator for Android OS also.

It's pretty sweet, and worth the price.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I was hoping for more good shmups on the platform, but it's probably just too new and enough folks haven't determined how to make a good shmup w/ a mostly touch-screen device yet
