so whenever i start the windows task manager my CPU is always used 100%.
is this dangerous? couldnt it overheat or something?
the program that uses so much CPU is called "System Idle Process".
Looks like this:
Is this a virus? Help please!
System Idle Process is exactly what it sounds like - it totals up all the resources that are free, not used. The higher System Idle Process is, the less your CPU is being utilized.
The number to pay attention to is "CPU Usage" at the very bottom.
The only problem I can see is that JEFFK is apparently the usar!!1 super cool!
Judging by the length of that elevator scroller you have a lot of useless shit installed on your computer. I don't know what WindaClippins is but itype.exe is apparently a driver for a Microsoft keyboard...TOTALLY AWESOME, that must be a special keyboard.
It might be more interesting to go into Performance and look at the RAM usage. Windows Vista / 7 are better about RAM usage (they load all they can into RAM on purpose to speed things up later - there may be settings for that I suppose) but on XP generally you want less RAM being used at first boot.
