PC-Engine + Shmups. One title immediately pops up in my head: Lords of Thunder, an absolute masterpiece. Never played it? You owe it to yourself to do so.

All of the above are quality games.I personally think Sylphia is overrated/priced,there are better games to be had for far less money.

thnks gents!!!! i am currently building a custom entertainment center just for the shmup heavy systems and i think the ole turbo duo is gonna b hooked up...along with the other 8 to 10 systems...

Other cool PC Engine shmup titles to own/play:

Download & Download 2 -- famous for it's usage of swearing at the ending story scenes. This, of course, would've been removed by NEC or TTI if it had gotten a proper USA release for the TurboGrafx-16/Turbo Duo platforms. The cool anime opening intro shown in the first Download Hu-card release is akin to the classic sci-fi cult film known as Blade Runner.
