I've done a few searches on this forum and on Google and can't find anyone reporting the same issue, but I'm pretty convinced... I don't think it's just me being paranoid because last week I was actually experimenting with this in Lords of Thunder (cuz someone on here said that game lagged on the VC), I was switching my TV's Game Mode on and off and I tried different cables, but I couldn't see any difference at all. In Gradius however I felt it at the first button press, and I'm constantly flying into things, notably the ceiling and floor, because I'm letting go of the button too late, which doesn't happen to me in Nestopia
I've heard it said that VC games can be laggy but I've not had a problem with Lords of Thunder or Blazing Lazers. I'm using a composite cable because the component "fix" apparently doesn't work for Gradius. Maybe I need to use a SCART lead? But again, I've tried those other two games with the composite lead and they feel just as responsive as they do via component
Any ideas on what might be the issue? Any Wii or TV settings that could be causing this? Or am I just being weird?
Edit: never mind, I tried it on the CRT upstairs and it's perfect. Seems like an obvious solution now, but I was thrown off the scent by the fact that it wasn't noticeable in any other games. Sorry for wasting the time of anyone who read this
