I have one of these. For the life of me I cannot get it to convert from 31khz to 15khz. I haven't really had time to mess with it, but it's starting to frustrate me. Power is hooked up properly, video in and out seem to be right. Nothing comes on screen. It's set on C, though I've tried various other combinations of settings. Any help getting this working is much appreciated, it cost a way too much for it to not work at all ):

can't help you with the question, but would you mind telling a little about the 15->31khz picture quality. Always wondered about it, but never got around actually buying one.

I paid the price tag for it because I wanted to remove the hassle of getting anything else working right. I haven't had reason to try 31 to 15, but when I do, I'll post info. I'm honestly a bit disappointed that it didn't just work for me. I'm kind of considering not bothering and just selling the thing again to someone who knows what they're doing, especially if I don't figure it out soon. Give it a few weeks and it's just not worth it to me.

Are you sure its supposed to downscan as well? The vewlix cab doesn't do 15khz, so I thought it only upscans from 15khz to be jamma compatible.

What resolution are you feeding it? I never got the impression these units could downscale as well.
