Is it possible to dual-mod controller PCBs in a JAMMA cab?

Post by drunkninja24 »

I have an Astro City that currently has an Ibara PCB inside wired to the control panel. I have 2 padhacked PS1 controllers in the panel as well for when I want to play consoles on the screen (via viletims adapter). However, it's quite a pain to rewire controls to the sticks and buttons each time I want to switch. I'm fairly experienced with dual-modding arcade sticks, I just don't want to damage the Ibara PCB in any way by wiring in my PS1 controls at the same time as having it wired to the PCB.
