Sengoku Basara.. Don't hang me!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know Sengoku Basara isn't a shmup, and never will be.

I'm asking here because I know alot of you play japanese imports.

Well, Sengoku Basara was released in the US as Devil Kings, so language-wise it wouldn't be a problem. But, Sengoku Basara 2 was only released in Japan.

There's a version called Sengoku Basara Double Pack for Playstation 2. Does this pack containt Sengoku Basara 1 & 2? Here's a pic, anyway:


There's also a game called Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes (Double Pack) for Wii, what's that?

Anyway, if anyone's got any experience whatsoever about these different games and versions, let me know.

Also, is Sengoku Basara import-friendly or would I miss alot of the story and plot etc 'cause I can't read japanese?

sengoku basara 2 heroes is some sort of update, I believe

also it looks like devil kings was marketed as being somewhat related to DMC, no surprise there at all

loved the game too, I know I'm not too experienced with the game but I hear a lot of hate for it. Some evening saying its a horrible game at times.

I didn't see any problems with it that wouldn't make it enjoyable.

I liked SBX also but I've never seen this combo deal. I buy imports but I missed this one. I'm going to a little reading up on this and might buy it if its worth it.
