I have never done this before. Long story short- PCEFan wants to buy a QSound amp/transformer from me, but wants to know how easy it is to hook up to an Egret 2.
So- has anybody here done it-have pictures/kind words?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Hooking up a Q-Sound Amp to an Egret 2
it's not difficult. You need an adapter harness to connect the F or P stereo connector of the Egret 2 to the output header of the amp (I can make these, in case). As for powering the amp, if it comes with its own AC transformer you just need to run the primary winding wires (live, neuter, earth) to an AC outlet. If it doesn't come with the transformer you can get one that is toroidal type and has a 115vac (if it's used in the US) or 230vac (if it's used in Europe) primary winding and a 12vac or 18vac secondary winding. The secondary winding needs to be terminated with the correct connector (3-pin JST VH).
