You could always look up an auction you think looks OK and then post it here and see what folks think.

Mine have an SLS sticker logo on the back. Beige / white shells and multicolored buttons. Ugly really, but they work great.

"This controller is SEGA SS Limited Edition of 2004. The company only produced 1,000pcs over the world. It's worth for people to collect it nowadays!"

Haha.

A couple of Japanese sites are telling me there's a reprint out there, so this is probably it. It's from China though, so the chances of it being counterfeit are 80/20. I have two of these and I did notice a difference in control; the ones off ebay could be pushed dead center, but I went back to using my PS2 Saturn pads instead. I also have a legitimate USB Saturn pad, but I'd rather just use an adapter and use my PS2 Saturn pad.

If you can't track down a PS2 Saturn pad, it's understandable since they're quite rare now. Switching between PS2 to 360 to PC straight away is really useful though. There's no potentially fake PS2 Saturn pads out there.

Groan - why do we have to go over this every couple weeks?

The SLS pads are made in China but they aren't counterfeit. At worst you'll get some production overruns. All the parts used and the overall quality seems identical to "the real thing."

I bought 2 white ones and they work fine to this day. No complaints at all.
This industry has become 2 dimensional as it transcended into a 3D world.

This topic really needs to be stickied. Not this thread, however.
