Hi, Just wondered if anyone knows if you make a game using XNA for the pc, then at a later date want to get it running on the 360, will it just work? or does it need to be made with this in mind in the first place?
i'm asking because i'd like to give it a go but lack motivation, so don't want to pay the XNA fee as i'll likely just give up, but then again if it goes ok i'd like to get it on the 360 in the end.

Yes. For the most part if it'll run on the PC it'll run on the 360. But once you move to get it published in XBL Indie games, you'll most likely have to change/add a lot of stuff because of the rules about titlesafe area, controller connections, etc etc.
