New to Shmups Forum and it a pleasure to be here. I have been wanting to play DDP daifukkatsu for over a year now, but couldn't find it anywhere in the states. I have been wondering if anyone knows where I can play it some where in south california especially LA. Thanks

You'd have a better chance to try out DDP-DFK version 1.5 PCB by attending a local So-Cal shmup meet...why not go that route instead? A leisure drive to try it out will be well worth it indeed. Or the only other alternative to play it properly, is to buy your own personal DDP-DFK PCB.
Whenever Cave releases it's upcoming DDP-DFK Black Label PCB variant (with a MSRP of 198,000 yen), expect the "plain-vanilla" flavored DDP-DFK v1.5 PCB to drop in price (making it more affordable for your own private playing pleasure via a portable Supergun or a candy cab setup). That is a given.
Currently, if you can find it, it is possible to buy a DDP-DFK PCB for about $950-$1,000+ USD in used condition (expect to shell out more of your hard-earned $$$ if you want it in brand new condition as a full PCB kit). Head on down to the Trading section as a few of them have recently been placed up for sale and sold rather quickly. The closest next-of-kin would be the predecessor of DDP-DOJ PCB and it's a mean & leaner Cave flavored danmaku game to play/own if you find out that DDP-DFK isn't your cup of tea. Some fellow shmuppers have tried out DDP-DFK PCB & stated that they personally opt to play DDP-DOJ PCB instead. Is just a matter of personal taste, of course.
