Sound for a new Shmup

Post by Attila7894 »

Hi there, i'm now on there  I'm developing a Shmup using Flash. I'm looking for some free sound effects and, if possible, musics for my game. Do you have some hints?

I also recommend Audacity for adding some extra punch in SFXR sounds.
If watching the trailer of the game
makes you feel a certain way
I would be very happy if
you would give the game a try

You can make cool sounds with any synthesizer program too; they're not too hard to use after a few minutes of playing around.

what style of music are you looking for? i'd be up for giving the music a go and creating sound fx for you too, depending on the style of music you're looking for.

send me a pm with the details and maybe a screenshot of the game so i have an idea.

I'd say get a VST host program (one free example that exports WAV I know is VSTHost) and a VST synth for it and you can make unique effects easily yourself.. One good free VST synth is Synth1.
