twiddling geometry on astro city

Post by charlie chong »

i've had dodgy geometry on my astro city for a while (i assume it's an ms8) me n my mate took the monitor out last night to see if it was easier to adjust out the cab.. fiddled a bit with s.pc and v.lin and it's a bit better but couldn't see which pot controls trapezoid due to dust on the chassis !! anyone got a schematic or know which pot it is?? bare in mind i'm locked out of arcade otaku and all links to there are useless to me! if trapezoid doesn't help then i'm gonna assume it's the yoke and give up.

Get a paintbrush on those pots - it's clearly marked :D

None at all. Cab is in tate isn't it? I'd set it hori temporarily while you sort out the geometry - the pots are difficult to reach when it's tate.

yeah the pots are crazy hard to get to when it's in vert which is why i just set it up on a bit of wood on the floor last night.. no way of even seeing which pot is which when in vert without a schematic. i'll try putting it in yoko if you say i'll have easier access (i did think that might be the case but decided the floor would be foolproof!)

thanks cools !

Floor probably makes more sense :) You'll need a mirror or long arms if it's in the cab.
