1) I don't have enough experience with online PoFV, however imho a bit of latency doesn't mean that the game becomes unplayable (it makes dodging and charging a bit more troublesome, though). Said latency was due to the distance from me and the other player, I think that the Adonis netplay does its job well
2) I'm not from Europe, sorry :p

1) This game's netplay is sadly a lot worse than IAMP or especially something like TSS in 2DF. However, compared to those other games, the latency doesn't matter quite as much. Still, much more fun to play vs someone in person if you can manage it.
2) I stopped playing, and I'm not from Europe, sorry. If you want to find games, it will be a lot easier asking in the Touhou community than on this site. I think shrinemaiden or other sites have IRC channels, don't know what they are though.
