SPACE INVADERS was the very first "SHOOT 'M UP"..

Followed by many MANY good SHMUPS,

Only 3 more years for the "30th SHMUPS ANNIVERSARY"

Considering we had a rediculous debate in the Cave translation thread not too long ago about shmup-shoot'em-up vs "shooting game" as terms, I am locking this.
