Sega should've

Post by D »

Another Sega should've thread.

I think that Sega should've released more arcade games for the Dreamcast.

They should've just release all the rcer that were released after Daytona and a whole lot of other Sega arcade games.

But they were very slow with providing Sega arcade games.

Bernie is a clown but that had nothing to do with the Saturn tanking in the US.

Sega should have done a lot of things but they are the perpetual fuckups of the videogame industry. I'm still pissed VC3 was never ported to Xbox. That would have taken, what a week considering it was running on Chihiro? hardware.

Sega should've massaged my testes. At least once.

Woulda coulda shoulda. They should've walked my dogs this morning, they should've drove my girlfriend home, they should've taken the busted finger instead of me, they should've voted for Kerry, they should've had a V8, they should've hired me instead of Bernie...

Man I could go all day here. Sega really fucked me over.

Sega should've made biofuel big. They should have told musicians that "doin' it for tha kidz" isn't singing about guns, drugs and tacky cars. They should have made sure rereleased 2D games for home consoles had scanlines.

They shoulda punish Naka for churning the same iteration of PSO over and over again (not counting PSU) and for turning it into Yugi-Oh with Ep 3. (Paying a hunter's license to play a stupid card game???) And for destroying my teen memories with their treatment of Sonic. What's next? Shadow jacking cars and capping people? A Sonic FPS? Ultimate Sonic Fantasy Card Battle Yipee-Ka-Yaay M0#$%@! Online?

Word on the street is that the next Sonic game, featuring Shadow as the lead, involves pistols. I kid you not.

I believe that is exactly what Spec was referring to. Our very own Thunder Force even has Shadow packing heat as his avatar. (I'm not really sure why, I think the whole concept for that game is tacky.)

Sega shouldn't have released so many add-ons for the Genisies at the same time the Saturn came out.

Sega should've forced more shmups to be published for US Saturns so I don't have to fork over so much damn money if I want to play Raident Silvergun. Maybe the system would not have been a complete failure in the states then.

Sega should have waited to release their hardware, instead of jumping the gun and releasing the Dreamcast so early that Sony stomped them into the ground easily.

Sega should not make bad Sonic games.

Didn't Naka create Sonic? He should still be punished harshly for every bad Sonic game he craps out. I'm not much of a Sonic fan any, I liked Mario more.

Sega should have fired that guy who said nah lets not bother advertising our best games, I'd have beaten him up for free.

agreed 32X was a complete disaster, I recently watched every single american, japanese and european sega comercial in the last 15 years and its not pretty gone of the days of music slagging off nintendo.

GENESIS DOES WHAT NINTENDON'T priceless

I think they did the right thing releasing the dreamcast early it gave them a good share of the market on launch, it set the records that are now broken though they couldn't have handled a ps2 release in the same month.

personally they should have sorted out virtua fighter 4 and half life and released em properly that would have sold thousands of copies.

Sega should have kept the saturn pad for the DC put in a built in memory to the controller and scrapped the vmu as only sonic adventure used it properly.

Sega should have spent more money on advertising in europe and if only they had a franchise that could compete with Final fantasy.

Sega should've had online play on dreamcast from day 1 had pso out on day 1 that would have made a lo of people happy instead of waiting 6 months for chu chu rocket.

I know, that's why I said it. Shadow with a gun. I dread to think what Naka would do to Nights.

Sega should've never let SOJ dictate SOA policy.

Sega should've never been so incompetent allowing it to have enough cash to cover losses when it...

Sega should've included a DVD drive on the DC and wiped the scourge that is the PS2 off the planet.

I think with a few changes the DC could have been almost perfect as a console.

Performance wise can't fault it , but sega should've really thought about a few things. I think advertising, lack of Dvd, and controller summed it up and yet again many triple A titles not making it to the english speaking market. Sakura wars 4 was supposedly the game that could have saved sega maybe the rest of us would like to know why and check it.

Sega should've:

Not fucked over SoA by not supporting the 32X.

Not ever hired Bernie Stolar ever.

Not let Ted Kalinske go.

Done everything they said they would with the DC (hard drive, DVD drive, etc.)

Not hired Peter Moore.

The jackass who fucked over the entire US DC fanbase.

He sold Sega fans out to Microsoft... since he canceled a bunch of US DC games (i.e. Shenmue II) so that he could later sell it to MS as an exclusive and get into the higher ups at the game department at MS. Fuck him and the ground he walks on.

Sega should've done a better job at porting Waku Waku 7 to the Saturn.
The Captain.
