I like the IK+ refs, but don't see many other stop motion stuff later on in the vid.
Pretty nice stuff though.

Re: 8-bit Lego Stop motion
That definitely is some solid stop-motion with the Lego medium. 1,500 hours went into layering the bricks just right for that perfect shot of capturing one frame at 24fps.
I like the stop-motion video astethics portion...that definitely had to take some ingenuity to pull off. I've noticed with the Sony mini-DV based camcorders, there is a pixelated video mode that can be scaled (zoomed in or out) -- a fine tool/guide to use for them 8-bit game characters indeed for stop-motion purposes. ^_~

Apparently it's all stop motion. All that stuff you probably thought was just pixellated video is actually done with lego bricks. In this higher quality version, you can see the fine lines between the bricks/pixels.Super Laydock wrote:I like the IK+ refs, but don't see many other stop motion stuff later on in the vid.

If the animators decide to do a sequel, I'd like to see some 1st person scrolling perspective stop-motion with the Lego brick medium. How about doing the classic Atari Lynx's Blue Lighting in lego form? It's possible. ^_~
