Raiden II dips and life extend

I just picked up a Raiden 2 (Jpn) and I noticed while it was in test mode it was set to hard.
The wierd thing is that dip2 on SW2 was the one that was on, this contradicts what the
manual says. I would of just shrugged it off as a misprint except the life extend was also
not working correctly. I have tried all the combinations of dips 5 and 6 on SW2 and the
200,000 extend does not work.
