Not long ago I started playing shmups after I played one in the arcade. Upon going home, I realized I had none to play until I ordered some, so I checked through all my old games to make sure I didn't have some NES/SNES/etc. one that I wasn't aware of. I came across and copy of Viewpoint for the Sega Genesis, and it seems like it's kind of rare.
Is this worth anything, or do I just have an old, oddly designed shmup sitting around?
(sorry if this is the wrong forum; since I'm not selling this, I didn't think it belonged in the Trading forum)

I don't mind the slowdown much. But I do mind the messed-up controls. The controls are relative to the screen, not the playfield. To dodge properly you have to press the diagonals all the time. What were they thinking? This makes the game pretty much unplayable, the slowdown does not.it290 wrote:I like the original version quite a bit, but the Genesis version just has soo much slowdown. It's like they just downgraded the graphics and music and left the program code intact, forgetting that the target machine was half the speed of the original..
