xrgb 2 plus how do I set it to 15khz?

I have a trisynced astro city and want to hook up my ps2 thru an xrgb 2+ ; I have the ps2(jap) connected to the xrgb with ajapanese rgb cable and the xrgb connected to the monitor with a vga cable. I set my monitor to 15 k but how do I switch the xrgb2+ to 15khz? It stays in 31 khz and I obviously want to play my ps2 shmups in 15.

Interesting question, since my XRGB2 does not ever display 15khz no matter what I do. I suppose the only reason I think its possible is because there is a light for it.

I am not sure I follow your intention though. Since the game is 15khz, why not just wire it straight to the cabinet to get 15khz?

Your asking your XRGB2+ to be a useless middle man. The only benefit being able to use the VGA connector to send the 15khz signal.

Cant you toggle between 15/31k by pressing power and down arrow buttons simultaneously? I read that somewhere.

The thing is that I am pretty lame when it comes to wiring etc. Besides that I found the xrgb the ideal solution to switch between my Saturn/PS2 and xbox instead of having to wire all consoles straight to the cabinet.

Press and hold the 'up' button and power on the device for 31kHz; 'down' for 15kHz.
At least this is how it works in my xrgb2.

I think the xrgb2+ does not have the 15k option, but 31k/47k...
Can anyone confirm this?
