It’s funny how Nintendo claims that the Nintendo Revolution will be backwards compatible to all the the major Nintendo consoles.
Real backwards compatibility would be if you could stick that old Contra NES cart or Axelay SNES or Mario 64, in that weird box & play! Now that would be something!
Download Roms is what I all ready do with my PC. I can even connect the PC to my TV & pretend that I'm playing Simpsons, The - Krusty's Super Fun House (V1.1) (U).zip, via a backwards compatible Nintendo Revolution console.
Big deal.

They said that their back catalouge would be downloadable for play on the Revolution. I don;t remember much about direct compatibility.
