Yes most of the UK guys are going and yes there are Comps already. You can enter them on the day, just see a tatooed guy called spadgy.

aaaawwwww i was well up for going till i google mapped the journey, bloody 4hours from sunderland, well i suppose our lasses car is too small to fit a candy cab in anyways......

The only other alternative is to rent a rental truck and haul your candy cab to the IC-'09 show. It might set you back a bit but worth in the end. ^_~

If you live in Sunderland everywhere is more than 1 hour away.

Can only suggest train, but even that takes hours.

There's shipping options (I forget the details but something like £50 for the first mumble-mumble-don't-remember-how.many miles and a bit more after that). Speak to poolchamp for details - might be cheaper than you'd think!

My friends and I are coming down for the weekend. I'm going to take part in some tournaments (the shooting game ones specifically, and anything else that might be of interest), but they're coming down to abuse freeplay rights to all the fighting game cabs, LOL.

Still no sign of tickets though. Anyone else get theirs? I know ticket companies like to keep things down to the knuckle to avoid touting. Obv, you can just print them out, but I have no printer, and can't be arsed to go to the library
