So far so good it looks really sweet and seems to be coming along lovely. Can't wait to hear that this is getting a DC port.

Nice boss explosions there. It definitely does have a ZG2 "aura" about it, though it looks more manic in nature, off the cuff anyways. I guess I'd best wait for clearer videos and more info before I say much else.

NICE!

So this is already out in Arcades?

It looks like a helper can be dropped off and left shooting while the player dodges bullets. Interesting.

It's currently on Loke Testing (hence the sign above the screen). Radilgy also went on Loke Test this weekend.

I hope those explosions can be skipped. It's a whole lot of waiting for no good reason. The boss should just blow up once and be done with it.

hey, sometrhing there puzzles me for months now...
what the hell does location test mean? is it like a beta test where they still search flaws and shit or is it just something to show the finished game?

Fairly sure it's to assert the game's popularity.

Are there any impressions yet? Any news of a DC port?

Woh did you see those explosions man! You could almost feel the impact.

Just Imagine this game with a rumble pack.

i agreee that the explosion is mindlessely long tho, not like i will mind it, but i DO mind thinking i was going to see the next stage and just seeing the explosion for half of the vid -_-

ps: rumble pack? the hell? do you like to die when you play shooters? who plays their games with vibration on?

Damn, what a triple post!

I don't play with a rumble pack, I was just talking about the explosion part it would really be effective.

Technically it looks really good, I like how the explosion ends up raining ocean water on everything. The whole perspective of the game has me wary yet. *-neo

This looks a bit like Zero Gunner 2 with a smidgen of Ketsui thrown in. We could have a winner. I can't wait for more vids of this one.

Explosions in this look nice and dramatic. If there's a DC port coming later on, my preorder's going in.
Kinect? KIN NOT.

I didn't notice that on first inspection, but yeah G.Rev are doing really well with this title.

pff, that boss explosion was great !
i wonder if ex-psikyo work at g-rev (like ibara having raizing people in it), the style similarity is obvious, and the addition of new devs could explain how g-rev, which supposedly consists of a few people, could get it to loke test so soon after senko no ronde.
especially since x-nauts/psikyo seems to be psikyo only in name. g-rev could become a big player in the shooter market, it would be nice to have another reliable quality shmup maker besides cave.

Yeah, I suspected that G.Rev might have some Psikyo talent after this game was announced. That video doesn't really give enough information to say for sure, but it certainly does bear a striking resemblance to ZG2.

And the speed of this loketest is really surprising. It seemed like Senko no Ronde was in development for such a long time, for an arcade game, and then they announce a new game, and bam, a week or two later it's playable. The development cycle of arcade games baffles me.

G.rev actually uses outside graphic artists like they used Milking Cow for senko no ronde. the core team is only six people or so

Looking very nice. Looks like the roatation isn't fluid like Zero Gunner, though, it's more like Guardian Force, where it's 45 degree increments. I wonder what's up with that little helper drone, too.

Well, certainly looks interesting and if they do have ex-psikyo coders on board that can only be a good thing as I was extremely underwhelmed by border down (thankfully the LE held it's value very well in the month after release) Definitely one to keep an eye on.

Is there ANY other link to the video? The one given is not working for me, and I'd really like to see this video. :(

Got the video; this game looks pretty sweet!

IMO, it looks like the rotation is considerably faster in this game then in ZG 2, which would be nice.

I didn't mind the outrageous explosions at all-the more outrageous the better, IMO! :P
