that's weird, im supposing this is some kind of mistake off ps2m part, maybe some british people on the forum can enighten us, i tought england gets games before france.
anyway, i find XII shitty, but there's people that like it, and for the low price it goes, its not a question wether to buy it or not if you ask me...
It's been out for ages in France and Italy. I got two copies from a nice fella in France a year ago, and it had been out for several months at that point.
All of this talk might matter if the game was good. It isn't. Waste no more breath on it...

i've seen it in my local gamestation for a long time. in fact i placed it on the shelf in the one i worked in about 8 or 9 months ago and i'm in the uk, s it looks like the ps2 mag are talking out of their arses
it's released in australia too last year, and it cost $25 aussies.. roughly 10 pounds. quite cheap i must say by australia's price standard, where new games cost somewhere $80 - $110 aussies, almost double the price of US games

Or it didn't sell in the first place...
Trust us, it's been out for quite a few months now in the UK. I think there's a reprint of it coming out though as part of a new Simple 20 range, so that might be why it was recently reviewed.
The game is not very good unfortunately. It has one interesting feature though, one that I would like to see implemented in other new shmups; it tracks your progress. You can check how you get better (or worse) on a graph. That would be a great addition to any shmup.

Didn't Einhander do that?
