Batsugun special edition

Post by ckong »

I just read in the sales thread about the existence of some Batsugun special (dual?) edition eproms. I have the normal edition of Batsugun, but it might be nice to have this special eprom set. Are they available somewhere?

For ckong,

There are some some Batsugun PCBs floating out there that have both the regular and Special version eproms together and with the flick of a switch, you can select either version to play without the need to swap said eprom. They do exist. Actually, it's just both eproms soldered together and with a bit of electronic switching magic, you can select either version when the Batsugun PCB is powered down, of course. ^_~

Alien Soldier's PCB comes with both the regular edition EPROM and the Special Edition EPROM. In order to change the version you need a flat screwdriver to remove the EPROM and replace it with another ERPOM. It's a lot easier than you think.

Steph at hobbyroms already knows correct eprom type to use, as he has done batsugun special plenty of times before.
