I was trying to identify what it was but it was pretty hard to see with only 2 x 3 second bursts.
it was vertical and looked pretty old school, sorta like aero fighters. I'll see if I can dig up a video.
I know they've always had a cab / arcade games in the cafe, but this is the first time I've seen a shootie in there
May I add I can't actually stand eastenders but it was on , so hey

I have a feeling it was the first Macross shooter. I think we talked about it awhile back and it was the first Macross game (which had a US release of all things).

While in Kerrville, TX on business last year, I went into the arcade there at the mall and they had Zero Gunner. This is the first time I've seen a shmup in an arcade in years. This was also the first time I've ever got to play the first Zero Gunner. It was actually pretty cool.

It was indeed Macross by Banpresto (I've just watched in on iPlayer to check
First time I've watched it in years!).
Quite an obscure shooter to have in East London, really

I hear that Billy is a bit of a beast at Third Strike. He plays a mean Dudley.

The game was actually developed by NMK. Too bad it was made by the same people who did Thunder Dragon so it has most of the flaws of TD (which was terrible BTW).

I doubt the Beale factor added to the price. If they offered some of Stacey Slaters panties I might be interested.

Stacey Slater's panties. Now I might actually have to bring myself in
.
That curvy blond wife of the mumbling bald fool (Tanya) might have to get some attention too.
There's a good thread here:-

The actual Zero Gunner PCB is none other than a Sega Model 2 PCB hooked up to a Jamma harness adapter...it is standard Jamma compatible from the get-go. ^_~
