Wikipedia info on Taito G-Net Psyvariar is wrong...

Post by PC Engine Fan X! »

On a whim, I clicked on the wiki version of Psyvariar and came across the info that the Taitio G-Net versions of Psyvariar Medium Unit was released in 1999 and Psyvariar Revision was released in 2001.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psyvariar

It was in March of 2000, that the Taito G-Card version of Psyvariar Medium Unit was released to the Japanese game centers and in September of 2000 that the Taito G-Card version of Psyvariar Revision was released to game centers. I personally got to try out the G-Card version of Psyvariar Medium Unit twice during the month of March 2000 in Japan -- one game center had a "New Game" sign on it to promote this new fangled Psy-MU game. The cool Psy-MU BGM tunes from Odeo (aka Tetsuro Saito) was jaw-dropping. ^_~

Whomever posted the above dates in the wiki has got it all wrong when it comes to the actual arcade releases of Taito G-Cards of Psy-MU and Psy-R. ^_~

Nah, I don't have a wiki account so I couldn't change it. If you have one, you could, Lordstar. At least oxtsu's Japanese arcade shmup list thread is the definitive one to check out concerning debut dates. ^_~

You don't need an account to edit wikipedia. And that's the point of wikipedia, users like you who know the correct dates fixing them. Go for it. :)
