I am so cool b/c I posted a pic of my box 1st before everyone....
Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

I tried the demo and didn't think it was all that good compared to RE4. Hard to pin down why, but the controls and pace and overall game flow just didn't feel right.

Sure I like it alot... is it better than 4. I dunno I haven't beat it but it looks really nice and is fun to play. Co-op is great to....

Dunno why everyone is down on it, it's certainly good and worth playing through.

Linear PCM 5.1 audio, is that in game or just video sequences?

The best thing about Biohazard 5 isn't owning the game, it's showing everyone online that I do.

This. Online coop with team killing, poor controls and zombies that take 82 bullets per hit. No thanks.

I'm not as excited as I should be since it seems made around online coop. Never liked online because of all the pricks and I'm a solo player. I imagine they had to make concessions to shove multiplayer into the game. PLus, RE4 was very original, but this one seems to recycle too many gameplay elements.

I'll definitely play it, but it's not making me go out and drop money on a new box.

As it's one of the only series the wife asks me to play because she thoroughly enjoys watching me play, I think I'll pick this one up. Looks fun to boot.

well if this has poor controls then RE4 had shitty controls.

it's very fun.... it's so hard on this forum to find folks who enjoy next gen stuff. should be expected though.

all the game parts are in english.... text included.

any other PS3 owners on here getting this? would like to play co-op.

it doesn't take 83 bullets to kill a zombie..... especially after level up wepon stats.

My cousins came to my house last weekend and we played some NES games. One of them was Bionic Commando and they kept telling me they wouldn't die so much if the game's controls were better. I asked them what's so bad about them and they said, "you can't jump." To which I said, "give me that" and proceeded to demonstrate that jumping was unnecessary in the game and the lack of it was what made BC unique. They said I was good in spite of the bad controls, but I disagree.

I don't know what people's issues are with RE4 and RE5's controls. They're very responsive and if you adapt your strategies properly, you'll rarely get hit.

RE4 is more original than 99% of FPS and 3rd person shooters out there.

As for enemies taking too many hits, herd control is accomplished with the trusty old shotgun and grenades. I've had groups of 8 or so villagers come at me and die with just one grenade. Furthermore, the enemies aren't human so they don't have to follow human heads blowing physics.
