If you use the search funtion you will find numerous threads on the matter however, this forum really needs a sticky with a simple table of:

Console + Shmups released +Region availability

Its been mentioned for years but no one has made a permanent one.

Combine the info from Xenocide Files with this thread about updates for said files and you have a fairly good list.

While I'm at it I might as well shamelessly plug this (again).

OK, I received Jimmy White's 2: Cueball and I confirm that it indeed has Dropzone. So you can play both the original and Super Dropzone on the good old PSX. I will update the lists accordingly. :)

That list is amazingly comprehensive in some ways - it even includes the underknown/terrible "Retro Force" for PS1, which is usually my litmus test for shmup list comprehensiveness. :) On the other hand it somehow overlooked widely played shooters, in the PS3 section in particular, such as Everyday Shooter and Blast Factor...

Then can we not steal those lists, stick them together in a thread and hit the nail on the head?

Yes, those titles have now been added. The Triggerzone shmups listings can be added and edited by everyone that is registered to the site.
