I have bought an R-TYPE LEO PCB.
I gave it a test when I unpacked it and everything worked great. The second time I hooked up the pcb on my supergun the sprites were missing. Just the background grafix are displaying...
has this something to do with a connectivity lack between the first and second pcb of the M92 board ? It's an original japanese board from Irem

Irem M92 boards can experience this, especially if the top (logic) board is warped in any way.
I bought Gunforce II a few years ago, and the top board was warped and I experienced the missing graphics or failed ROM check occasionally.
I purchased a mint Gunforce 1 for $20 and swapped the top boards. Since the top board wasn't warped, I never had the problem again.
Yes, they are interchangeable.
