Hi,
When I run Shiki III on my PC it starts up fine, going through the first few logos, and arrives at the "press any key" screen without a hitch. However, when I do 'press any key', it crashes to my desktop. Is my computer good enough to run this game? Does anyone know the system specs? Is it able to run okay on XP? Any help would be deeply appreciated.
P.S.
My specs:
510 RAM
DirectX 9.0c is installed
1.6GHz AMD Processor
128 MB videocard
(ATI Radeon X700)

you need applocale(get it from the MS website or just google it) and you will need to install the east asian languages pack form your XP disk.....if you need more info than that PM me and i can walk you through it when i get home from work
also just saw your specs....this is gonna run REALLY slow on that system....like unplayably slow

some but not all.....especially ones with graphics like shiki3.....find shiki2 and run that one(it doesnt require anything special like applocale) and you ill see......you wont even be able to run that at a reasonable framerate....and shiki3 is way more intense graphically
but considering the system you are running was outdated 8 years ago it doesnt matter much
definitely time to upgrade

I am having trouble running the game as well but I think my main problem is that I'm using Vista 64. I can install it but that's as far as I get. I try and start the program and a window flashes up then goes away instantly. I've tried changing the language and region settings to Japanese but nothing works. You can't use applocale with Vista 64. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
