Heh, I can't wait for what's going to happen a year or two down the line, when shit is still collapsing, all the hope dies and everyone goes back to normal. Not to be negative or anything, I'm just tired of Obama fever.

Hey, as long as when I'm dying in a gutter, pissing blood all over myself, and The Guy doesn't sneer at me and say "crybaby!" that's a massive fucking improvement.

Good riddance to Bush's reign of terror; hooray for Obama's reign of terror.

I'm pretty indifferent to it.

The speech was great though.

An estimated 1.4 millon people converged just to listen/see President Obama on the Washington Mall for this historic occasion. A lot of folks alrighty...impressive turnout indeed. Sorry to hear about Senator Kennedy being whisked off to be checked out at a local hospital during Pres. Obama's dinner meal event -- was complaining about possible chest pains or something. Hope that it's nothing serious...did raise some eye-brows during this incident among the guests and all. ^_~

It's cool having someone with a quality education (and good marks) as president. But lobbyists and special interests are just gonna keep playing politics and economics like they're at the craps table. That being said I am interested in what he's going to have to say about Gaza.

Thank god we got that overgrown frat boy out of the white house. I am no Obamaniac so I don't expect him to work miracles, I just expect him to do a better job than Bush...which really shouldn't be that hard to do.

Seriously anyone can seem like a savior or The One compared to Bushie.

Regarding Gaza: I hope he says "fuck it." Go help Darfur, Chinese orphans, Afghani school girls, or any other place but that shithole of an area.

Awesome, I congratulate with my fellow American friends - you're the envy of all of us now.

Good Lord, I hope not - this is definitely an improvement, but we've got a LONG way to go to become anything resembling a country worthy of admiration these days. I'm hoping that Obama will be able to reverse at least some of the damage that the Bush years wreaked, but I'm going to wait and see before hoping for anything further.

Okay, Okay - you have our envy as long as we're talking presidents, is that more correct?

And, if you're of a questioning nature, that's precisely what makes it all so suspicious. 8)

I loved the stress on work ethic in the speech. Actually, I loved pretty much everything about the speech.

Heh, alright, though again, we still have to wait and see just how much of an improvement he is over the last one...the latter, we won't be living down for awhile.

Like anyone really knows if he'll be a good president or not. The Obama hysteria is reaching insane levels. I hope he does a good job as much as anyone else, but I'm not going to proclaim him God before he does a damn thing. People need to get a grip.
