I've been DLing torrents for a long time now and all of the sudden I've developed a weird issue. My seed ratio dropped below 50% (like 46%) and now all of the sudden NONE of my torrents will finish. They all just sit at like 99%. I've left other finished torrents seeding for over a week and still nothing will finish, even though my ratios are MUCH higher than they were.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm using Bitcomet for torrents, and I had to set up port forwarding with a static IP to get a full connection. I'd really like to clear off all my DLs and get my ratio back up. I only grab a few audio books and a bit of music and recent TV shows here and there so this is kinda frustrating.

<@scootnet> if you were a real gamer, you could jerk it to Super Metroid box art

Heh, I hadn't head about that, this is nicest summarization of the situation I've found after a bit of googling
" MPAA hasn't bought utorrent. BitTorrent has bought Utorrent. BitTorrent and MPAA have some sort of deal to remove copyrighted stuff from BitTorrent.com. Azeureus apparently have similar deals. So would any of the decent clients right now because the industry is trying to figure out how to recoup bitorrent and capitalise on it. "
It surely wouldn't hurt to stick with 1.6, but it doesn't sound like it's that big a deal. But since it's super easy to do and for the sake of paranoia I suppose there's no reason not to downgrade. From the little bit I've read there's no real evidence of fishy business involving the client yet.
