KHAAAAAAAAAAN!
KHAAAAAAAAAAN!
Ricardo Montalban passed away today. Bastard was 88, but didn't look them.

Don't hold grudges. GET EVEN.
Well that's a bummer. I remember Fantasy Island when I was pretty young, and of course, the famous Khan. I even remember his playing an Indian in an old western or two (which gave me a chuckle). He always seemed like an interesting person, and he certainly made his characters memorable.
I imagine where he is right now, everything is upholstered with soft Corinthian leather, and everyone's a wienie but him.
R.I.P. Ricardo.

Scaramanga! A guy I relate to because I also have three nippz (also a damn good shot and dashing looks you know).
I saw some ads he did for some regional bank chain in Virginia (I think) some years ago on vacation...seemed like a blast from the past even then.
Mr. Montalban did a lot for the image of Mexican performers, or at least he should have (I don't know how many people thought about it). He came out pretty strongly against stereotypes like the "Mexican bandit" and I think Speedy Gonzales.

Actually, Christopher Lee played Scaramanga. If he died we could give a hearth "SARUMAAAAAAAAN!!!!!" or perhaps a quiet "Count dew-coo....."Ed Oscuro wrote:Scaramanga! A guy I relate to because I also have three nippz (also a damn good shot and dashing looks you know).
Anyway, I've had lots of fun watching his performances on Star Trek. RIP.

I remember him mostly from Naked Gun.Vexorg wrote:
Is it just me, or for being a show that apparently nobody watched, there seem to be a lot of people out there who remember him mostly for playing a bad guy on Freakazoid?
Feedback will set you free.

Whoops on Scaramanga!
I could've made that error since the film Scaramanga's accomplice is Nick Nack, played by Herve Villechaize - who has been mentioned in this thread already.
But Christopher Lee's great too - even though I'd tip towards Plummer (there the only connection is the first name, and Plummer, of course, was another awesome Trek badguy).

Sadly, Mr. Goohan passed away too. Shatner, on the other hand, looks quite in shape.
