My new Siemitsu stick

Post by Strider77 »

Just finished my second stick (1st was a sanwa http://shmups.system11.org/viewtopic.ph ... highlight=. This one is for my 2D games and shooters. I REALLY like the siemitsu's short throw and a square gate.

I noticed that every time I play Mushi on a friend's cab I did alot better. I noticed he had seimitsu sticks in it. So I made one and it's quite nice.

I used a vinyl die on the casing to make them black ect. This stuff makes the plastic actually black.... it won't/can't be scratched off like paint ect.

It works with:

PS1, 2, and 3
Saturn
SNES
Mega Drive
Neo-Geo
Dreamcast
PCBs via supergun
Wii/GameCube

Damn Tim, you know there are quite a few Americans out there who still lives in tents due to this shitty economy, and you're dropping loads on a single game which only last 20 min. Do you think it's fair? How much did you spend this time?

Looking at your other stick, where did you buy the PS2 cables to go in that?

Used to believe that myself :)

It's certainly possible to scratch (it only dyes the very top of the plastic) or polish off, but it won't flake/scratch like paint :)

you'd really have to scrape deep into the plastic for it to reveal the old color. even without the die that scrape would be very visible.

I have run a buffer over this stuff and it most certainly did not come off. But I used a whole can on just one stick casing. I layered it quite a bit.

that's a nice economic build there.

did you buy the sticks from here?

I was looking at this one for a while. It looks like a neo geo aes style stick for Dreamcast. Yet probably not as modable as the fighting stick.
