Need Some Game Hardware Recommendations
I need to buy stuff that lets me do the following.
Copy game saves I download from the Internet to my PS1/PS2 memory cards. I see PS2 game saves in Gamefaqs labeled Codebreaker Save, Max Drive Save, etc. What is up with that? Btw, I prefer one device for both PS1 and PS2.
Converter that allows me to use my PS2 HRAP on my PC with no or almost no lag. I'm aware of several products, but I haven't tried any of them, so I don't know which one is good.
Also, where do I buy.
Thanks in advance.

"Sooo, what was it that you consider a 'good salary' for a man to make?"

I used the codebreakers for ps2 in the past and I do believe you have to have a separate software for both ps2 and ps1. Again, if memory serves, the USB adapter for your memory card comes with software that transfers the files over properly.
You may want to research if Dex drive save files require a dex drive, and Codebreaker requires codebreaker. I would sign up into one of the save communities outside of gamefaqs since they will probably have some good information on what works.
sorry I couldn't be more help.

I use this for converting PS2 and X-Box to USB. I have not detected any lag. Wal-Mart - $5.

You mean with cheating devices and the like?
I play my games normal for the most part. I just like to see everything in my games and some requirements to unlock stuff are just ridiculously time consuming. Furthermore, when I'm playing a new game that has multiplayer, I want all the multiplayer content to be unlocked immediately so that I can, well, play multiplayer.
I can't stand games like Crash Team Racing that have most of the multiplayer tracks locked or Marvel vs Capcom 2 that has characters that have to be unlocked. They're the cream of the shit pie, imo.

I was using an AR Max to finish Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 (NA ver is bugged) but it crapped all over the memory card I was using with it. I ended up having to download a PS2 memory card formatter since there's no built in functionality to do so. After that I've been using a bit of free software (can't remember the name, my PS2 is back in the States) that lets you burn saves to a CD/DVD and load them onto a memory card that way, but of course this requires a modded or exploited PS2. Unfortunately the PS2's support for USB thumbdrives that aren't the ones included with cheating devices designed for the PS2 massively sucks.

ULaunchelf can read from any USB device that is FAT-formatted. Again, I recommend the exploit.
